Uru: Ages Beyond Myst retail patch v1.2 Cyan Worlds and Ubi Soft have released a patch for Uru: Ages Beyond Myst, updating the game to version 1.2. Word is the patch "contains stability and performance enhancements for the entire line of ATI's Radeon Graphics boards," along with addressing a dozen other bugs as detailed in the release notes. Please click on the link above to go to Ubi Soft's download screen. Alternatively, you can also update the game by clicking the "Update" tab on the Launch screen. Release notes for the 1.2 patch Contains stability and performance enhancements for the entire line of ATI's Radeon Graphics boards. It is highly recommended for Radeon owners. I won't list the fixes as some people may consider wording about these 16 fixes could possibly be thought of as spoilers. |

This site takes advantage of the Flamboyant Handwriting font so if you have it installed on your computer certain parts of this site - in particular my Uru Journal - will appear in the font! |

You need a copy of Uru: Ages Beyond Myst to be able to run and play this.
Basically, the content of this First Expansion Pack from Cyan Worlds,Inc, gives you most of the Uru Live code plus a little extra. It doesn't give you the On-line community as was promised for so long, nor does it give you the dreadful lag problems that caused so much friction and unhappiness at the time. However, everything else is here...and running at the sort of speed you'd like and expect it to. You can now explore Ae'Gura, the main section of the City of D'ni, at will. You can also explore Bevin, one of the basic neighbourhoods, and you also get to revisit all your favourite locations discovered in Uru to find lots more books and items of clothing. When you get that far and unravel the mind-bending puzzles connected with Rezeero [Great Zero], you are suddenly in for an amazing bit of gaming fun [and computer coding]!! Everything about this first expansion has the familiar mark of Cyan Worlds all over it: drop-dead gorgeous graphics and consistent family entertainment.
